I liked the front 2" receiver builds that have been done so far. 2" Front Receiver for Winch Multi Mount and Modified Curt  front end hitch receiver + alternative installation, but decided on a more sturdy (in my opinion OWNER: C Brocksmith) modification of a 2" front receiver for winching.  First, the front fake bumper was removed . The bumper brace bolts were cut off and with only the brace remaining, we fabed a new mount for the Curt aftermarket front receiver. Others have cut on the Curt receiver but we left it in tact and welded it to the bumper struts.
